Ark dilo eggs1/7/2023 Each dinosaur had a preferred kibble based on a particular dinosaur egg. It is a more effective taming food than other, more easily-accessible foods like raw meat and berries.īefore the Homestead update was released, kibble in ARK was a much more complex system. Kibble is a food source used primarily to tame dinosaurs. How Do I Get Rare Mushrooms and Flowers?.How Do I Get Rockarrots, Longrass, Savoroot, and Citronal?.Can I Feed Kibble to My Tamed Dinosaurs?.Can I Still Use the Old Kibble Recipes on ARK?.Sorry for the thesis, please let me know if I wasn’t clear enough or have made any errors. Other than that and (all the bugs of course) I’m having a blast with this game and can’t wait to have enough time and confidence to play with rougher settings without having to stop every 15 minutes to look up information or tactics. But 9/10 most of my time is spent feeling my way around, being completely stuck on what to do next, pause to constantly look up answers and videos. I’m just really unfamiliar with the rules and tactics of this game, all I want to do is enjoy it to its full extent. Once again I am very green at this so while the answer is probably going to be very obvious and likely “common sense” to most responding, I’m not intentionally trying to miss the point or be obtuse. Honestly finding the occasional parasaur egg was a huge surprise and I told myself I should just be patient then, but that was three days ago and I’ve spent more time playing this game than I did anything else during those days so I’d figure an egg should have popped up atleast? (I’ve also checked my oviraptors inventory and other than the 8 dodo eggs I gave her days ago there’s nothing she has, and I realize in order to utilize her egg knabbing abilities I should put her on wandering but I’m trying to wait until I’ve leveled up her health and damage to an amount I’m comfortable with so I don’t have to worry about her getting molly whopped into Hades domain lol) I’ll come back after a particularly long time away from my base (in game/real time) usually because I was killed and forced to search for my base via eyeballing my freshly wiped map (real fun bug btw) and I’ll whistle them to a separate section, go over to sift through where they’ve all stood for hours and not find a single egg. But my dodos and dilos aren’t mating/wandering either and they leave eggs (dilos less consistently though I could honestly be looking them over). In case this is necessary information, I don’t have their mating enabled or wandering enabled because I’m currently mostly focused on expanding and placing bases in multiple locations and am not confident with letting them roam about on their own due to recent slaughtering of a bunch of my favourite moschops, so they just sit tight in their pens with troughs to keep them fed while I’m away building. ![]() ![]() ![]() The tames I’m mostly interested in are my Diplodocus (2 fems and 1 male), Oviraptor (one fem), Stego (1 fem and 1 male) Tek Parasaurs (2 fems and 1 male) and Castoroids (1 fem). Googling doesn’t help much and I’m still figuring out how to navigate the Dododex, and with many forums and threads being years old I’m not sure with how relevant and accurate the information provided are. I’ve been playing this game everyday since I started for an embarrassingly large amount of time (my character is level 97 which I’ve quickly realized isn’t actually that high in ARK standards, plus I turned XP gain as high as it can go because I play solo so it’s not really an accomplishment but I have killed a lot of time getting to it) so I was a bit confused why I haven’t found any non fertilized eggs lying about from my tames. My dodos are constantly dropping eggs and I’m not surprised it’s considerably quicker than all my other dinos, but so far the only other non fertilized eggs I’ve found from my tames are Dilo eggs (two), and Parasaus (rarely). I’m trying to collect eggs so that while I’m busy base and trap building I can passively make and store different types of kibble for future use. Very very green player of this game (Xbox one console in case it’s important) with less than a week under my belt.
